Thank you for looking at my GORGEOUS, vintage one-of-a-kind Dick Lehman handmade Stoneware Pottery Serving Platter measuring approximately 10.75" diameter by 2" deep.
The dish color is that of very light bone/gray color and is hand-painted with a delightful whimsy in ribbons of forest green, and blooms with leaves in in light blue-gray and brown tones.
All Dick Lehman pottery are proudly made by hand in Goshen, Indiana and are collectible works of art all with Dick Lehman’s personal touch. You will see the dish is marked by stamp “Dick Lehman, Goshen Indiana” with his trademark of initials on the underside of the dish for authenticity.
Some collectors will purchase for display in their finest china cabinets while others take advantage of using their collected pieces as they are made with such quality and durability to do so without fear of damage to their beauty.
My platter is deep and provides use to be loaded up with pasta, veggies, large salad for a family to share at dinner or it could be used all week long full of in-season produce.
The condition is EXCELLENT as it was never used for anything other than display in my kitchen display cabinet. The platter looks just like it did the day we received it 25 years ago as it was never used but only for display.
