The remote control functions and works, however once in awhile the remote control volume button will not work. The volume on the Amplifier works-no problems, just the remote volume button intermittently.
The unit is clean, would be perfect for someone just getting into home theater, wants a unit that will truly jam out the tunes, home, garage, pole barn, without busting the wallet, etc.
Powered 4 JBL Studio Monitors perfectly just fine, along with Center and 2 Subs
