Moving unexpectedly - I custom built these 2 benches (mid-2025) with one having an adjustable height so that the two could be joined to use as one 30 x 72" bench. The base of each unit is built with yellow pine; each unit has 3" HD caster wheels; tops are 1.5" thick birch butcher block (purchased). Height - 38"; finished with Watco Butcher Block Oil; 3 coats on bench tops; 2 coats on remaining.
On Bench #1, I have a Dewalt 12" miter saw that sets into blocks on a ¾" birch plywood base. With blocks holding it tight, it maintains the same position each time you move it from the storage shelf to the top. Bench #1 also has fold up extensions on both sides giving you 34.50" each direction from the blade. Included ¾" plywood base units, one with T-track and sliding stop, set into place on top of the fold up plywood to create a level working area spanning just under 70". When saw is in use, the bench top hangs on the back of the bench.
Bench #2 - Table Saw. Remove the top, then remove the adjustable height base and your table saw will be ready for use. By design, the table saw stays in the same position. Once you are finished using the table saw, remove the fence, reset the wooden base, then the top. I currently have a Dewalt DWE7485 8 ¼" Compact Jobsite Table Saw on my bench. I purchased the table saw in May, 2025. It's also for sale on another listing. The T-track on front and back of the Table Saw Bench are for a Glue-up Station which is for sale in another listing (T-track 2x4s not included with Bench #2). Miter Saw and Table Saw not included with bench purchase.
