Feeder pigs/pork organic - $1,234 (SAINT JOE)

We raise heritage cross (red wattle/large black mix) hogs on certified organic feed, without soy on open pasture. Our next batch will be ready around the end of September. We charge $5.50/lb. Hanging weight. Then you pay the butcher for processing (we take them to Corona, IN). Total hanging weight for a whole hog is about 135-175 pounds. Our you can buy a whole live hog for $3/lb. And process yourself or take to your own butcher.
