Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pump Technician (with a CDL) to join our team. The ideal candidate has had experience working with septic tanks and grease traps. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Pump Technician will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations while delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Learn how to handle daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance and inspections.
2. Pump and properly dispose of non-hazardous waste.
3. Operate a Vacuum Truck (CDL qualified)
4. Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed.
5. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
6. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any other relevant documentation.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
9. Go the extra mile to engage customers and quality of work.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Pump Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL, A or B license) with the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
3. Tanker Endorsement required.
4. Valid drivers license in good standing.
5. Pass all background tests.
6. Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
7. Experience working with septic tanks and grease traps preferred.
8. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems effectively.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
10. Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
