SELLING A VINTAGE COMPAQ PRESARIO 5006CA COMPUTER.
ASKING ONLY $59.
IT IS TYPICALLY SOLD FOR $149 TO $199.
These typically cost $149 to $199 or even more online.
I saw 15 ads for this same computer and half of them were between $149 and $199.
One quarter were around $100 with damaged versions.
One quarter were up to $299.
I believe this model was made or released in late 2001.
Not everyone is looking for this computer because it was released I believe in November of 2001 so it's for collectors who look for nostalgic vintage computers. This is a tower which is in excellent condition. To be honest I have not seen the computer work as far as I haven't seen it operate on the final end of the operation which is news a few months ago and nothing's happened to a sense so it should work. But I have turned on the computer and heard the internals operate including the fan which sounded very smooth and the drawers for the DVD burner or CD player or whatever it has operated very smoothly and open and close very smoothly without any damage there's no damage anywhere on this Tower which surprises me no scratches of damage or anything no grooves and this is 25-year-old computer. Even the little doors or other moving parts on this are surprisingly in excellent condition and not even out of alignment.
COMPAQ PRESARIO 5006CA.
It is part of the 5000 line. It is the Canadian version which is similar to 5006US which is the American version. Mine has English primary language and French as an optional and from the research I've seen it is worth a bit more than the US version. There is also a 5006LA version.
I also have a monitor but don't know if it works because there is only one power cord which fits the computer or the monitor and there is also one multi-pin connector which connects the tower to the monitor but with one power cord I couldn't turn them both on and have them connected and I don't know if that's required for the monitor screen to boot up but it did not so the monitor may or may not work it is a NEC MultiSync MS95 monitor 19 inch screen. The tower is maybe around 25 lb but the monitor is nearly twice as heavy.
