Thank you for looking at my vintage Steel Tonka Turbo Diesel Dump Truck XMB-975 from the Mighty Diesel series. In my childhood during the late 1960’s and 1970’s, imagination played a pivotal role in bringing creativity and enjoyment well before the age of video games, computers with internet, and cable television. In the summer months and even on week nights, going outside to play with our neighbors was free reign in a playground where our imaginations knew no boundaries!
This steel Tonka Turbo Diesel put countless hours of hard work into our sandbox excavations. Given its work was outdoors by nature, you can see it has some cosmetic ware shown in condition, but overall, it’s in decent shape for a hard-working toy that’s nearly half of a century old!
This truck has been very well loved taken care of and in good condition, showing signs of play ware.
Noteworthy features:
• The plastic "windshield" and other windows have a few scratches but are not broken or chipped.
• Sports the iconic Tonka vibrant yellow and is a collectible piece for enthusiasts of vintage die cast and toy vehicles.
• No bent or broken metal or plastic pieces but it does have a little surface rust.
• This Tonka dump truck is a The Tonka logo on the left and right side has been in use from 1978 to present.
• Classic toy and features all metal construction, from the time before they went to all plastic.
• Sturdy construction of pressed steel and timeless design makes this a cherished addition to any collection.
