Thank you for looking at this charming vintage wooden pegboard case box with chalkboard slide insert. As a child, I would spend time enjoying this case by drawing artwork or practicing my alphabet on the chalkboard but also by creating figures on the pegboard back with the pegs you’ll see inside … this was before Lite-Brite’s were sold. Of course this could be used as a precious display item which houses cherished cards, photos, recipes, you name it.

Here are some features to note:
• Approximate measurements: 11.75” by 9” by 1.75”.
• Approximate weight: 1.25 pounds
• Very good vintage condition – it shows that it was used, but no major flaws to report (see photos)
• Chalk board top slides out and can be mounted into the slits in the wooden box frame to allow someone to write on it as though teaching or displaying the work
• Pegboard back for creativity to come alive
• Stores chalk, pegs, crayons, pencils, checkers, whatever you wish (but it will come with the original colored pegs
