What You'll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building systems
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues quickly and safely
- Respond to work orders and tenant/maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain grounds, equipment, and common areas
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (apartment, commercial, industrial, or facilities preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry
- EPA/HVAC certification a big plus (will consider candidates willing to obtain)
- Ability to work independently, lift 50+ lbs, and handle occasional on-call or weekend duties
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional attitude, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic
This is a full-time, on-site position in the Fort Wayne area. No remote work.
